Frequently Asked Questions

What will you do to keep us as safe as possible from the COVID-19 virus?

We do everything we can to keep our guests and employees healthy and safe. For example, all games are private and deep-cleaned between games. Gloves and hand sanitizer are also provided if requested.

Guests are now provided with online waivers that can be completed before they arrive at the venue. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your game and will now be texting you a reminder at that time. This minimizes congregation of people and handling of IPads. It is very important that you are timely as we are trying our best to have games run on time to the best of our ability.

Lastly, if you would like to eat and drink before or after your game, please call to make a reservation and come in at the appropriate time. You’ll be able to bring your drinks into the game rooms!

Can you host large groups and private events?

Absolutely! We love to cater to large groups. We can tailor a unique event for your needs, whether it be for corporate parties or team-building; holiday and birthday parties; special events, networking meetings, and any other type of get-together you can think of.

Our steampunk-inspired décor, amazing cuisine and escape rooms make us more than just an ordinary downtown Denver lounge and restaurant. We’re here to help you host an event that your guests will always remember.

In addition to our fully stocked bar, we offer an array of set menus, which include family-style, plated service, platters, appetizers, kids meals, attended stations, buffets and more.

Is it okay to bring babies? What about children's birthday parties or school field trips?

It’s fine to bring a baby, as long as an adult is willing to take the child out if he’s hindering game play or interfering with the experience of other players in the room.

Birthday parties, field trips and all other types of parties or private events are welcome! We have a private room that holds approximately 16-20 guests for seated dining, although there’s plenty of additional room if formal seating for food service isn’t required.

What types of food do you have in the restaurant and lounge?

We take pride in being much more than fun escape rooms that will challenge and entertain you. Since our opening in October 2017, it’s been our goal to be one of the best restaurants in downtown Denver. We do that by featuring gourmet casual cuisine at affordable prices. We also offer a full bar, plus hand-crafted theme cocktails that match each of our escape games!

Our menu caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike with a variety of lunch and dinner options.

For meat and fish lovers, we offer delicious options that are a cut above. These include fish and chips, our signature cheeseburger, and one of our most popular dishes, a French Dip sandwich featuring roasted choice ribeye and caramelized onions.

Omnivores and vegetarians alike will love our amazing lighter dishes, such as gourmet cheese curds with shishitos and raspberry marmalade, our ultimate grilled cheese sandwich and specialty pizzas.

We also offer options that anyone, including vegans, will love, such as Brussels sprouts with honey and cranberries, delicious salads and our amazing fries.

If you want dessert after your meal or escape room game, we have sweet specialties you’ll really love. See our menu for more information.

We have the best happy hour in Denver too. Join us Wednesday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. when we offer some of our guests’ favorite dishes from our regular menu at reduced prices and combine them with wine and beer specials.

When should we arrive for our game?

It’s very important that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time because our escape games start on time and you won’t be allowed to enter once the game starts.

If you would like to have a drink or appetizer in our attached restaurant and bar before the game begins, please allow extra time.

Cancellations or requests for game/time changes made within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment will be subject to a 20% service fee.

I've never done this and I'm nervous. Is it scary? What happens if we don't solve the clues and can't get out? Is there any physical contact?

Not to worry! There’s no physical contact, and it’s not scary. The Game Master will be give the group clues as needed to keep the game moving. Participants are monitored during the entire game and will have two-way communication with the control room. If someone gets nervous or scared they can always leave the room or call for an employee to come in and assist them. If you don’t solve the clues or get out in time, nothing happens—you’ll just need to try again!

A personal Game Master will be assigned to your group to guide you through your experience. If you’re really stuck, you may ask them for a hint!
